Workout Schedule: 7/12 - 7/18

Monday 7/12
Day One! 30 minutes on the treadmill featuring interval endurance training: 5 minute warmup - brisk walk for 5 minutes followed by easy jog for 2 minutes (repeat 4 times) - 5 minute cooldown. Great start!

Tuesday 7/13
Gym Membership Day! Sign up for membership with Gold's Gym. BodyCombat class at empowering cardio workout inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, Boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi, and Muay Thai. HiYa!

Wednesday 7/14
Ooohhhmmm. Yoga Day! Gold's Gym BodyFlow class at 10:30...a yoga, tai chi, and Pilates workout that leaves you feeling long, strong, centered, and calm. Lots of stretching and twisting my body in ways I didn't know it could go. Follow up with 20 minutes of interval endurance training on the treadmill.

Thursday 7/15
1-hour meeting at 5:00 with personal trainer at Gold's Gym to personalize a lifting routine. Hopefully she goes easy on me!

Friday 7/16
Happy Friday! Interval endurance training for half-hour on the treadmill. Walk-run. Walk-run. You get the drift. Early workout night with the girls!

Saturday 7/17
No breakfast-in-bed for this girl! 10 AM Gold's Gym BodyPump class...60-minute barbell class that targets the legs, chest, back, triceps, biceps, shoulders, and abs. Ouch!

Sunday 7/18
God rests today. I'll follow his lead. No gym or treadmill today. Maybe a light yoga workout before bed. Namaste.
